There is no way that I am posting a picture of a medium shrimp so one must use their imagination this week. I am now 13 weeks pregnant which means I am in my second trimester!
Update from BabyCenter.com:
"Fingerprints have formed on your baby's tiny fingertips, her veins and organs are clearly visible through her still-thin skin, and her body is starting to catch up with her head — which makes up just a third of her body size now. If you're having a girl, she now has more than 2 million eggs in her ovaries. Your baby is almost 3 inches long (the size of a medium shrimp) and weighs nearly an ounce."
Recent notices: my apatite is growing, I am "showing," and I haven't thrown up all week! YEAH! We had a doctors appointment this week that truly rocked my world!! Mike came with me to the office and we got to hear Baby Wojcik's heartbeat! 160 bpm! It was incredible! I giggled with joy! Mike got the whole thing recorded on his phone. I will never in my life forget the moment I heard the heartbeat of the baby within me. It is truly a testament as to how amazing our heavenly Father is.
The doctor said that the baby is sounding perfect and everything is looking totally normal. I got hassled a bit because I have lost 9 pounds and am borderline anemic. So, I have to munch munch munch on some greeny greens and meat!
