Best Pregnancy Gift Ever- King Size BED!

22 Weeks Pregnant

Update from BabyCenter.com:
At 11 inches (the length of a spaghetti squash) and almost 1 pound, your baby is starting to look like a miniature newborn. His lips, eyelids, and eyebrows are becoming more distinct, and he's even developing tiny tooth buds beneath his gums. His eyes have formed, but his irises (the colored part of the eye) still lack pigment. If you could see inside your womb, you'd be able to spot the fine hair (lanugo) that covers his body and the deep wrinkles on his skin, which he'll sport until he adds a padding of fat to fill them in. Inside his belly, his pancreas — essential for the production of some important hormones — is developing steadily.

Here he is at 22 weeks. We went in for the second half of our ultrasound. (If you remember, the first half was cut short because the little man was wiggling too much.) The technician said that "he is a perfect baby" and also a "a really wiggly worm!" He did not slow down one bit. This time we got to bring my little brother Martin into the appointment. It was neat because he got to see his nephew on the monitor. He said he was weirded out by seeing his skeletal system. But overall, he loved being there.
As some women out there may know, when you get your ultrasound you have to drink a huge amount of water and you are not allowed to go to the bathroom for an hour prior to the appointment. So, when you go in the bladder is full! I hobbled down the hall and they began the ultrasound. I would squeal occasionally when he would kick me or the technician would push a little harder on my abdomen. The best part of the appointment was when the technician moved back and just let us watch him. He decided that in his moment in the spotlight that he would do his very best marching dance--- ON MY BLADDER! We could see the whole thing... my very full bladder being smashed by his strong but little legs! The whole room (Mike, Martin, and technician) burst into deep laughter while I squealed in pain. This is total Wojcik behavior if you ask me...

In other news, Mike surprised me with a brand new king size bed! It is beautiful and wonderful and I love it! I can pile up my pillows and roll around and his furnace body is not touching me all through the night. It is seriously the best pregnancy gift ever! *Thank you Husband!*
